MTC 436/598 Assignment #4: Second Sequencing Assignment

Project Description:

Augment or restructure your Assignment #2 on Digital Performer to include sequenced sounds from Absynth 3 software synthesizer.

Technical Requirements:

1. You should use either the entire Assignment #2 or a large portion of the assignment in the form of sound files imported into DP. You can restructure the flow/style of the original assignment using portions of the original in different contexts if you wish. This would result in an interesting variation of the original.

2. You must use at least 4 sounds from the absynth library. To do this you will need to build your own library file which is unique to this work.

3. Sound location (panning) should play a major role in the work.

What to turn in:

A folder labeled Assignment #4 on the DP computer (in YOUR folder, in CLASS folder) which contains:

1. The final DP document

2. An aiff file recording of the work (labeled "Assignment _4.aiff").

Grading:

Will be based on your meeting the above requirements plus the creativeness that you bring to this orchestration.
