| Gardenia Coleman is a broadcast-focus journalist in Phoenix, Arizona. She will be graduating in May 2012 from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She will be receiving a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a MA in Mass Communication.

| Gardenia brings life experience to all areas of her work & education. Her experience includes writing, producing, video shooting, editing, interviewing and public speaking.

| Community involvement is an important aspect of Gardenia's life. She serves on the Dean's Advisory Board, has served as a Student Success Coach and volunteers as an Obama Scholars Mentor.
