Interenet.com
- Good place to start for your curious nature... Many topics covered...
Cyc
- Cyc Corp is a general knowledge base and commonsense reasoning engine.
Check out OpenCyc project for an
opensource project based on Cyc.
WinMac for Intel
- A project in the planning stage to make MAC OS X available on Intel PCs.
Note to MS: Apple never said NOONE would/could try... Who are you going to
strongarm into submission now that there's no corporate entity behind the
project (to be fair: that I know of)?... No profits to threaten...
Life is getting better. I've been waiting for this. Lets see if it makes
it. :)
FreeOS
- From the site: "FreeOS.com is the leading resource center for Free
Operating Systems. Our aim is to promote the use of Free Operating
Systems. We are committed to do the cause of the open source and free
software movement. Therefore it will be our undying effort to propagate
the use of these."
Freewarehome
- Yet another place for free software.
The Gnome Desktop
- Gnome desktop is a desktop suite and development platform for Unix and Linux.
theKompany
- theKompany... Linux apps you wish you had. They're the makers
of Quanta and the sponsors of the opensource version by the same name,
and have more development apps as well as Quicken-compatible financial
software. Its not free, but heck, not everything in life is :)
Quanta Gold
- Quant Gold: Like coding (as opposed to what that thing is FrontPage
lulls you into doing; sorry to FP fans...)? Try an IDE for the web. Quanta
is also an opensource project (see the above link description),
but the Gold edition has more tricks, and tricks that one can use. There's a
demo on the site, so don't take my word for it :)
The Perl Foundation
- From the site: "The Perl Foundation is dedicated to the
advancement of the Perl programming language through open discussion, collaboration,
design, and code."
Space.com
- See the world from a different point of view :)
