Here is a shot of my 1947 Willys 2WD truck. I bought it six years ago and
am just now getting started on doing something with it. I've installed a
rebuilt Chev. 350 with turbo 350 transmission. It's running Edlebrock intake
(Performer) with a Holly 650 and mallory ignition. Exhaust is through Hooker
super competition headers into a 2" exhast (dual) with Turbo type
mufflers.
I've spent the last 1 1/2 months on the engine and transmission. My new wiring
kit should be here next week to completely rewire and upgrade the electrical
system. Improvements to come will be a different rear end and disk brakes on the
front. For now I have 4 new drums and wheel cylinders for the original 11"
brakes.
Although my running gear will be far from "stock" I plan to keep the body and
interior as close to stock as I can. Also I have the engine and transmission
that I removed if anyone is interested.

P. S. I've enclosed a shot of the new engine to give you an idea of where I'm
at with this project.
