A reminder to those who presented papers at the Romanticism and the Physical conference, we are still accepting polished versions of conference papers for the special issue of European Romantic Review (ERR). The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2000. Please include annotations with your final version but do not significantly extend them. If you are submitting electronically, mail your file as a Word/WordPerfect/RTF to Mark.Lussier@asu.edu.

The eighth annual conference of the North American Society for the Study of Romanticism was held September 14 - 17, 2000 at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel in downtown Tempe, AZ. The first NASSR (North American Society for the Study of Romanticism) conference in the American Southwest, Romanticism and the Physical invited interdisciplinary explorations of Romanticism's relationship to all aspects of physicality.
