Quiz General Instructions

Periodic quizzes will be given to make sure you are keeping up on the reading and to reinforce key terms and concepts. Quiz questions will be drawn from assigned readings and lecture notes. Three scheduled quizzes will be held as indicated on the daily schedule.  You should also be prepared for occasional unscheduled quizzes, which will be announced the morning of the day they are due.  All quizzes will be available online for a limited amount of time. As a result, be sure to check the announcement section of the course home page daily. Quizzes will be available in the "Quiz" folder in the "Assignments" section.

Quiz Format

You will be asked to answer five out of six questions. Questions will generally be short answer, requiring you to give a few words or sentences as an answer. For example:

How does Achilles receive his new suit of armor?

Define the concept of wergild.
