With a growing number of businesses advertising online via CPC campaigns, banner ads, and other mediums, the need to track visitors from these sources and measure their performance on a companyŐs website continues to increase. Web Analytics is an important component of overall website performance measurement – one that provides raw data and user trends to be analyzed. The Web Analytics industry has plenty of opportunities for those ranging from the technical to the more business-minded. It is continuously growing, so there is a constant need for engineers to overcome the current challenges and come up with new ideas.

About Kirk

 

Kirk graduated from ASU in 2008 with a B.S. in Computer Science. He took on the position as Senior Consultant with Actual Metrics, a Web Analytics firm specializing in Google Analytics and Urchin software. At Actual Metrics, Kirk is the lead Urchin consultant, handling support, training, and the other general consulting needs of small to large sized businesses, including some Fortune 500 companies.
