Henry Cotton,b.October 1709 in Northern Ireland, d. 11/2/1800

married Mary Smith (second cousin) died after 1800. Both buried Washington Co. Pa. Henry arrived at Marsh Creek shortly before 1741 at a settlement called "Manor of Maske" near Gettysburg. His will is at Washington Co. Pa., Vol. 1, page 414.

William B. Cotton, b. 7/16/1762 at Marsh Crek, died March 1841. Married Mary Scott.

Colonel John Cotton (son of Henry) married Margaret Stockton (parents: Mary Makemie and Robert Stockton).
