Mrs. A. C. Burns, 87 years old, of 411-1/2 Sixteenth Street, widow of the late A. C. Burns and a resident of this city for 45 years, who died at 3:00 yesterday
morning after a prolonged illness, will be buried tomorrow following funeral services at 10:00 in the morning in the Klingel-Carpenter
Funeral home. Burial will be in Woodmere cemetery. Mrs. Burns is survived by a son, O. E. Burns, Huntington; two daughters, Mrs. C. J. Hines, Baltimore,
Md., and Mrs. J. O. Hicks, Victoria Texas, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was a member of the United Brethren church. One of her
sons, James Burns died in 1912. Five months ago Mrs. A. C. Burns fell and fractured her hip and her fatal illness dated from this injury.
