Meeting location

The process is that we cannot negotiate for a meeting location until the American Physiological Society has accepted the proposal. APS Council will consider the application in August, so we should have the site decided on by spring 09.

That means you have to decide on whether to come without knowing where it will be. But, what you really care about is the quality of the science, right?

The committee has been discussing locations, and three places are currently being discussed. Here they are in “rank order” based on committee discussions so far:

Snowbird, Utah
San Diego, California
Fairbanks, Alaska

If you have a preference, or other suggestions, we’d appreciate hearing about it.
