This SIG will familiarize members with the stock strategies and investment approaches provided by AAII. The SIG will operate like an investment club, with members picking a strategy and voting on a portfolio of stocks to buy.

Members will follow a stock and report on it at the meeting

Due to greater uncertainties, financial planning after retirement becomes more challenging.  We all want to make good decisions.  Where most investors get into trouble is not in their intent, itís in their emotions and habits.  The SIG's focus is educating members how-to make informed financial decisions which are in their best interest.  Our group welcomes different viewpoints and participation from both experienced and new investors.

Meetings are held  Nov, Dec, February and April from 12-1p.m. following the main meeting.

The new administration has had its one year anniversary. As far as health care is concerned executive orders are changing some of the rules.
ObamaCare is still the law of the land, however, the changes that are in the works might make a difference. Itís a wait and see if these changes will have any effect on monthly premiums, provider networks and availability of more carriers in the market.

Medicare is having its share of changes. The bigger issue is how to pay for an expanding senior population with medical needs.

Join us for an informative and spirited discussion of all things pertaining to health care.

Meetings will be held October, January, and March from 12-1pm following the main meeting.
