the globe. Featured will be the Pan Devils Steel Band,

The Arizona chapter of the Percussive Arts Society will hold their
annual Spring Festival March 25-26 at the ASU School of Music. On
the evening of March 25 Guest artists Tim Adams and Christopher
Deane will present a concert program. On March 26 student soloists
and ensembles will perform in the morning followed by guest artist
clinics.

Pan Devils Steel Band, under the direction of Jordan Drum, will

beyond. Famous for it’s renderings of calypso classics the group
also performs music from the classical era and a variety of
popular genres.

If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled audition dates offered by the School of Music, but wish to come to Arizona State University for a live audition, it may be possible to arrange an ad hoc audition with faculty from your performance area on another date. Ad hoc audition requests are made directly to the faculty. Once the faculty has granted the ad hoc audition, submit the School of Music application with the Ad Hoc Audition section completed. All School of Music application materials must be received at least one week prior to the ad hoc audition date. Please note that faculty members are not obligated to grant ad hoc auditions. The final date for all auditions is March 3, 2012.
