I invested a big chunk of my time in open student model during my pre-doc era; and dialogic-based learning on Vialogues since my postdoc. I still continuously research on intelligent & scalable visual learning analytics. Several spin-offs during the development, including learning & engagement activity classifiers, analytics, visualization & recommenders are continued being studied and under investigation. more details in my project list on my lab site...
My core research is in the field of interactive educational systems. I design & build effective visualizations and computational technologies that enhance users' (learning) experiences. i.e. WPGA, Ogmented, StudyGenie, QuizIT, etc. Refer to my CSI lab website. Some older tools include Progress & topic based navigation support (Progressor & Progressor+).
I research how students learn to program and what technology assists learning programming. I organize CS-Edu workshops (AIEDCS'13, AIEDCS'14, CSPRED, CSEDM@EDM'18 CSEDM@LAK'19, CSEDM@EDM'20). I build several tools that support users to learn programming languages, inlcuding peer-reviewing based program annotator, parameterized quizzes for dynamic problem solving (QuizJET) etc. more details in my project list on my lab site...

I watched Maria Sharapova raced back and won over Ana Ivonavic in Rome Open. The same year, she got her Roland Garros title for the very first time. Viva sportsmanship!
It's the first place I studied abroad. Also, the very first chick flick "Before Sunrise" that I like, with the storyline of train ride from Budapest to Vienna.
Food unlocks my mind. I enjoy mini adventures to taste exotic food and find sources and spices for inspiration.
I'm fascinated with arts and sciences at work, angles and perspectives in life. Big fan of museums, poetry, designs, and things that shape our lives.
I update my site at least 4~5 times per year.
