Kimberly Willis Holt considers herself a southerner.  In reality she is a child of the world.  As a daughter of a mitary career father she constantly traveled around the world.

·        As a child she usually daydreamed in school when she was supposed to be paying attention to the teacher.           

·        After her college education she had several jobs such as radio news director, marketing for a water park, and as an interior decorator. 

·        She finally decided to pursue her dream of becoming a writer.  She enjoys writing from an adult perspective but she prefers to write for young adults.  She writes stories from small incidents in her own personal experiences. 

·        Kimberly currently resides in Amarillo, Texas, with her husband, Jerry and their daughter, Shannon.
