3rd International Conference on Narrative Inquiry in Music and Education

November 24 - 27, 2010

Scholars and researchers pursuing narrative inquiry in music, the arts, and education are invited to participate in the third international conference on Narrative Inquiry in Music and Education (NIME3). This, the third NIME conference expands the scope of previous conferences to embrace a multi-disciplinary view of narrative inquiry.

The purposes of the NIME3 conference are to examine the current and potential uses of narrative inquiry in music, the arts, and education, and to advance the philosophical, theoretical, and methodological bases of narrative inquiry in music, the arts, and education. The NIME3 conference continues those conversations commenced in the first two NIME conferences and will provide a forum to engage critically with this emerging body of scholarship.

In a tradition established in the previous conferences the keynote speakers provide a multi-disciplinary perspective with speakers from Education, Music, the Arts, and Creative Writing.
