During his time as a student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in Phoenix, Jesus found himself interested in the realization of stories that reflect the human spirit and motivate others to make a difference in their communities.
After living in Arizona for six years and being so close to social, economic and political issues that affect minorities, Ledezma realized he wanted to use his knowledge to build a career based on giving a voice to the voiceless.
Through the production of two documentaries he discovered the importance of exposing issues that otherwise remain untold. Jesus plans on working on more documentaries and stories that expand on topics that can contribute to society's progress.
His work experience is very diverse since he has worked as a reporter, producer and writer for English and Spanish markets in Phoenix. Ledezma has knowledge in different media platforms such as radio, television, print and online. And he enjoys searching for creative story ideas as well as shooting, writing and editing his own productions.
The ethic standards Ledezma has applied to his work so far are the result of quality instruction and the respect for those who use the media for the benefit of society.
