Angelina Grimke [left] published An Appeal to the Christian Women of the South (1836) and became an antislavery lecturer.  Sarah Grimke [right] published Letters on the Equality of the Sexes, and the Condition of Women (1837) and joined her sister on the antislavery lecture circuit.
