Phi Alpha Delta 2009-2010

"Service to the student, the law school, the profession, and the community"

Purpose

"The purpose of this Fraternity shall be to form a strong bond uniting students and teachers of the law with members of the Bench and Bar in a fraternal fellowship designed to advance ideas of liberty and equal justice under law; to inspire the virtues of compassion and courage; to foster integrity and professional competence; to promote the welfare of its members; and to encourage their moral, intellectual, and cultural advancement; so that each member may enjoy a lifetime of honorable professional and public service."

Phi Alpha Delta Pre Law is a Professional Fraternity that accepts all majors of study. We help the "Pre-Law" student get into the law school of his or her choice; we accomplish this by offering lectures delivered by attorneys, admissions officers, and LSAT specialists. We also offer our members a chance to interact with students who share the same goals and ambitions.

This year, PAD at ASU will have one overarching goal, reinvention. We will continue the vision of last year's administration by committing to the fundamentals of this fraternity. Our mission last year was to build a stronger membership base and to build camaraderie within the fraternity. We succeeded in our mission. This year's mission will be to provide service to the greater Phoenix community. We will have a total of two community service events every semester. Our task will be to provide service to our members. We will have one fundraising event per semester so that PAD can better serve the needs of its members. PAD at ASU will continue to carve the path of reinvention for future members. I ask that current members stay committed and help welcome a new generation of Phi Alpha Delta members.
