Teaching Experience

From: August 2004 To: Present
Arizona State University, English Department
Instructor
This semester (fall 2006) I'm happy to be teaching 4 sections of English 101 and one section of English 200 (Critical Reading and Writing about Literature). The chance to teach literature is something I've looked forward to for years and has certainly challenged me. I also taught the Survey of British Literature (first half) last during the spring 2006 semester.

From: August 1999 To: August 2004
Arizona State University, English Department
Faculty Associate
I have taught the following writing courses at ASU: English 101, 102, 105, 215, and 301. I've used both the St. Martin's Guide and the Allyn and Bacon Guide for these classes. I've taught several classes in computer classrooms and greatly enjoy the enhanced tools that computers offer for writing and learning.

From: August 1998 To: May 2002
Mesa Community College, English Department
Adjunct Faculty
I taught nine sections of English 101 and six sections of English 102 at MCC. For these classes, the textbook that I chose was the St. Martin's Guide.
