A Few of my Favorite Authors:

My Literary interests extend beyond the traditional boudaries of genre and 'period.' While I love the English Romantic Poets like Blake and Wordsworth, I've worked on Smollett in an editorial capacity. Leigh Hunt, the topic of my dissertation, was a friend of Percy Shelley and Byron who teetered on the edge of fame in the late "Romantic" period. Why is John Updike pictured here, you may ask? I'm also interested in 'modern' American writers such as Updike, Fitzgerald, and Steinbeck.
