Boron
Some boranes are reactive (B5H9) while some are stable in air at room temperature (B10H14).
B2O3 is the only important boron oxide.
Boric acid, H3BO3 or B(OH)3 is a weak acid (Ka = 5.8 ? 10-10).
Boric acid is used as an eye wash.
