Model Systems Strategic Research
Network
Beginning in 2003, I have co-led a strategic research network with my
collaborator
Françoise
Baylis (Dalhousie University), funded by the
Stem Cell Network in Canada.
Our network is comprised of ethicists, philosophers, historians, stem
cell biologists, an anthropologist, and a variety of trainees interested
in conceptual and ethical issues relevant to (1) the selection of model
systems and (2) the creation of novel model systems (such as chimeras).
