Pick some common object that has two or more components. Write a description of the object and each of its components. For each component describe the materials used for that component including the properties necessary for fulfilling the function of that component. Make a guess about the actual material used for the component. For example if one of the components is metal see if you can identify the metal as steel, brass, copper, etc.
