These proposal essays were written by Arizona State University ENG. 102 students during Fall semester 1998. The students chose their topics from broad topics on the Environment, Ecology, and Land Use Planning, did the research, and worked collaboratively to write the essays and create the e-zine. I did not edit these final papers and am not responsible for my student's opinions. I encouraged them to write persuasively about topics they viewed important not only to their own welfare but to the welfare of the larger community.
