In Loving Memory

Clyde "the big guy" Heenan, died July 11, 2008. With no hopeful outcome or treatment that would offer the quality of life he deserved, we had to make the most difficult decision to put him to sleep, sparing him from further suffering. He died peacefully in the company of thosed who loved him. He was a sweetheart from the moment we met, and he brought so much love and joy into our lives; we will always feel grateful that he let us be a part of his life and that he was a part of ours. His loving companion, Tom Dooley, proclaimed him "the world's greatest doggie," and that he was. He is survived by two adults, three cats, a dog named Bonnie who drove him nuts, and a tortoise named Shelly who still remembers the day he picked her up and held her in his mouth while wondering what the hell she was. He was an old soul and a spirited pup who filled our lives with a boundless kind of love. He was as sweet as he was big, and he was loved by all who knew him. His passing has left a hole in the cosmos.

We miss you big guy, and you will always he in our hearts.
