  • American Photography — A Century of Images. Created by PBS, this site includes links on Photography and War, Presidential Image Making, and Cultural Identity.

  • The Digital Journalist — “A multimedia magazine for the photojournalist in the digital age.”

  • Finding Images Online — This immensely helpful link page, created by Paula Berinstein, points users in the direction of hundreds of different image resources.

  • Journalism Ethics Cases On-line — Controversial Photos. This subsection of Indiana University’s School of Journalism’s Ethics page offers several articles that question the use of controversial photographs in news stories.

  • Life Magazine — Classic Pictures. This site links you to some of the most famous pictures once featured on the pages of Life Magazine.

  • The Museum of Hoaxes — Hoax Photo Gallery: This site offers an overview of photographic hoaxes from the Civil War to the present day.

  • Newseum Pulitzer Prize Photo Exhibit— This site combines Pulitzer prize winning photos with voice over commentary by the photographers describing the process of taking the picture.

  • Time.com: Pictures of the Week— This Website hosts series of pictures on current events, organized by week.
