1. From the "Edit" pull-down menu, select"Preferences."
2. In the Preferences window, expand the"Mail and Groups" selection by clicking on the"+" sign next to "Mail and Groups"
3. Select"Identity" and fill in the dialogue boxes with your name and your e-mail address in the appropriate boxes.
4. Then select the "Mail Server" option under "Mail and Groups."
1. Fill in the mail server user name with your ASURITE user name.
2. Fill in the"“Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" with"smpt.asu.edu" (no quotes).
3. Fill in the incoming mail server with whatever mail server you are on, whether i's imap1, 2, 3, or 4 (e.g.,"“imap4.asu.edu" [again, no quotes]).
5. Click"OK"

To send your essay to me, click on my e-mail address at the bottom of this screen, and an e-mail window will open up.  Click on the paper clip in the tool bar at the top of the e-mail window and browse to your floppy disk to find your essay.  Double-click on the filename and the e-mail program will attach the file to your e-mail message.  Then send the e-mail by clicking on the "Send" icon in the toolbar at the top of the e-mail window.
