Error Monitoring
1) Cognitive Complexity in Critical Care
a. Synopsis. A part of the JSMF funded effort, this project seeks to develop a monitoring system for critical care environments that uses heuristics to predict clinical workflow based on movement patterns of individuals in the environment. It employs off the shelf RID tags to determine activities and then uses computational heuristics to determine workflow events, find normative behavior patterns and deviations from normative behavior patterns.
