Human Machine Symbiosis Laboratory

Mithra, Aaron, Gazi, Kumar, and Miguel all work here. Foad and Daniel are the two students who luckily escaped last semester.

This is the description written by my students on what they do here in the lab...

"We do nothing all day, yet act very busy once the big man walks in. We've become accustomed to it, and when Mr. Kahol isn't here, we hold all day events that involve country singing competitions, paper football tournaments, and our personal favorite, the raw ostrich egg eating contests. Aaron is the current champion in our hourly hopskotch tournaments and daily scooter racing events we hold out in the hallway (don't tell security). Daniel held a gymnastics meet inside the lab, once bringing in his family members to build us a pummel horse thingy to pummel the horse, or whatever they call it. Mithra held a fashion show, installing a catwalk stage hidden beneath our floor (you know, just in case Kahol walks in). She got runner-up behind the fab-u-lous Gazi Islam and his "workin' it strut" we've all grown to ignore. The lab has been a very fun place, of course until Kumar got his very own ID and now controls our behavior---"discipline is key", he says. Oy, what a geek--a cool one though (yes he made us say that.)"
