In my free time
There is'nt any left now being an assistant professor. However for any that I have, I like to read the Britannica set of greatest books of the Western World. Ranging from Aristophanes to Darwin to John Stuart Mill, its a great way to catch up on all the reading I missed out on when I was studying too hard to become an engineer. I also have an affinity to read Noble prize winning authors as they seem to contribute to the technique of writing rather than simply telling interesting stories. I dont know much at all just would like to know a little bit more about literature and philosophy. I am fascinated with Indian literature and philosophy but have absolutely no time to read anything except Khushwant Singh (he wrote a Novel Titled Delhi which may explain why I read it).
I do indulge in Indian Sufi Music and a good website to begin the pursuits is www.apnaorg.com. My favorite singers are the Wadhali Brothers Puran Chand and Pyare Lal.
As for movies, anything by Anurag Kashyap doesnt dissapoint and neither Does Ingmar Bergman. Favorite movie of the last few years: There will be Blood.
Few other hobbies I do have are slowly dying due to the increased workload.
