Specific Training Modules & Their Development

1)  Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training
    a.  Synopsis. The project aims to offer a focused ACLS training modules that includes errors training. We have performed cognitive task analysis to determins cognitively intractable portions of the ACLS procedure and developed errors training to limit the number of errors during the most important stages of ACLS.

2)  Central Venous Catheter placement training and its effect on patient safety.
a.  Synopsis. The project aims to study the effect of CVC curriculum designed in the SimET Center on reducing CVC related complications

3) The use of ultrasound for IV placement.
a.  Synopsis. The project aims to study the effect of including ultrasound in IV placement using hand movement based proficiency systems.
