Kate Barnes is currently a senior earning her Bachelors degree at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, specializing in broadcast journalism with a minor in communication. She intends to pursue a career in radio, working in a large market and impacting that community through music.

Kate has interned for Clear Channel radio in Phoenix with major market stations such as XTRA Sports 910 and 2010 American Country Music award winning station 102.5 KNIX, along with assisting other stations including 550 AM KFYI AND 104.7 KISS FM.

She also has experience with web design, photo and video editing, video production, and has knowledge with software such as Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Audition 3.0 and Cool Edit 2000.

In her freetime she likes to travel, watch Phoenix Suns games, paint on large scale canvas, and is always on the look out for the next great band or artist.
