My Bio Page

I am a senior at Arizona State University West campus. My degree is a B.S. in Global Business with the emphasis on Human Resources. I am also completing a minor in Ethnic Studies. The Ethnic Studies minor compliments the H.R. degree because of the very diverse workforce population.

I am employed as a Human Resources  Coordinator  with a non-profit organization. We value and promote diversity on all levels.

I am the youngest of only two children. My ethic background is mixed. Both of my paternal grandparents immigrated from Hungry in the early 1900's. When my grandmother came to this country  she began her career as a domestic worker. Over the years she was able to open and run a very lucrative business, purchase several pieces of property and establish herself in the community. She had two children; my mother and her older brother. My paternal grandmother was Native American from  the Southeastern part of the United States. My paternal grandfather was a mix of English, and Irish. I never heard the story of how they met, he was the youngest of nine children and lost both parents at an early age.

I was born In Florida and raised in New Jersey. My grandmother had purchased homes in both states and  my family was able to travel back and forth several times a year. When I was a teenager a left the East Coast and traveled to Arizona where I currently reside. I am not a native of Arizona but I have been here foe 25 years and have seen many changes in the state. I have two children and each of them have one child. large families stopped with my fathers in  my lineage.

Migration is very much a part of my life and the lives of my grandparents. I am glad to be from the places I am from and I am glad to be where I am today.
