    This class has given me new insight as to the plight of the migrant.  Even those I am a first generation American it is difficult to maintain all my Mexican traditions without any type of  popular American urban culture getting into the mix.  However, cultural intermingling is a good thing because you incorporate the best of many cultures, sharing customs, traditions and experiences which can be an enriching journey.
