A radical group formed to help prevent illegal immigration into Cochise County, Arizona. This group took the law into their own
hands in order to "prevent" illegals from entering the US. They no longer exist with the same force as they did but the few members
that remain still have a focus in protecting the border anyway possible.

Currently dissolved. Spoke with the Leaders wife Toni.

B.        Where is home base (city/state/country)? Hereford, Arizona 85615

C.        Date founded? 1998-1999

D.        Names of key spokespersons/officers? Leader- Larry Vance
Key Members- Roger and Donald Barnett

E.        What/who is key constituency or audience? The citizens of Douglas Arizona. Also they are related to a group in Texas.

F.        What are the agency’s main activities? Want to stop Illegal immigrants from entering Arizona.

G.        Mission statement? (you may quote mission statement if available; use quotation marks)
Could not find a mission statement.

H.        What are the key im/migration issues of concern to this agency?
The key issue is the amount of work that illegals are taking form Americans. Also the money that the illegals are making is not being spent in the US.

I.        What appears to be the most common informational basis for statements issued, press releases, reports, etc.?
I found most of the information in the form of news reports. None of the news reports were kind to this organization.

No publications or website was given.

The article was in The Arizona Star “David Stoddard, a member of the Concerned Citizens group, said he is outraged that citizens would be branded racist criminals for stating their
opposition to illegal immigration.”

This group is strongly anti immigrant. Some of the members, armed with rifles and hand guns, held over 1000 illegals by force until the border patrol got their.
