Dear people of
Phoenix,
In this page I try to show you
what I have learn. It is important to understand the issues
that are going on in our state. Many people judge and take
decision without really looking at the big picture. As
educated people, we must first evaluate and understand the
consequences of our actions. Prop. 200 was passed not to long
ago in our state. It is true that it will limit many illegal
aliens in this state, but I think that should not be the point.
Limitations only lead to desperate actions. In an effort to
show people that not all illegal aliens are the same, I wrote Rigo's
story. He just an example of the many people that come into
this country only in search of a better life. When I started
this class I was against Prop. 200. Now that I finished this
class, I am even more against what was proposed. The purpose
of this letter is not to convince people of what they think.
My purpose is to show you that after studying the culture and the
reasons people from all over the world come into this country, I
feel I really understand what's going on in this country. If
