F. What are the agency’s main activities? Building and supporting policy, providing current media to the public and experts

(you may quote mission statement if available; use quotation marks!) is “To Embrace and uphold Americans traditions as a nation of immigrants” by working to be sure immigration policy are fair and strengthen the US economy, and providing resources for immigrants and their community.

H. What are the key immigration issues of concern to this agency? Fair treatments of the refugees, fair immigration policies, helping alleles to create policy that strengthen the US, and making sure that immigrants achieve Americans success and settle into a community.

The congress representative Sen. John McCain) and Edward Kennedy are working with the National Immigration Forum on how to pass a bill so that Immigrant who are trying to come to the United State could stay in the United State for six years with a visa. They quote" Washington --- A landmark moment in the growing conflict over immigration could come today as advocates for a measure in Congress that would grant temporary work visas for illegal immigrants launch a lobbying blitz with a rally in Washington, the first of several across the nation.
"The immigration debate is getting more and more ripe and ready for the picking," said Angela Kelley, deputy director of the National Immigration Forum, an immigrant advocacy group. "The breadth of support for change is enormous." What sort of change, however, is uncertain. As Latino and business interests push for a temporary worker program, influential House Republicans and other groups are pushing for stronger immigration controls. They vow to block any proposal that includes amnesty for illegal immigrants.
