Hello, my name is Adrienne White. My ancestors are from Ireland and Spain. I am most interested in my Spanish ancestery because they were here the earliest. My ancestors arrived here in the 1500’s. My last name has been changed over time from Blanco to White. Blanco is Spanish for White, so I can see how this happened. I wanted to bring a Spanish sword that has been in my family forever, but could not for many reasons. Instead, I brought a symbol of something that my ancestors brought over from Spain. It is a horse, a major contribution to America. It changed the lifestyles of many people here, from Native Americans using them for hunting, to transportation for many.
