Margarita Gotay's Bio
I was born December 27, 1986 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I’m currently nineteen years old, but in a couple of weeks I’ll be 20. My mom is Puerto Rican and my dad was born in Ohio. I have some Cuban and Spanish blood in me. I go to school in Santurce, Puerto Rico at the University of Sacred Heart where I’m a junior doing my major in Psychology. But, for these past three months I’ve been traveling the world on the MV Explorer. Our voyage of discovery ends the 7th of December, 2006.
I love helping people out, the beach, music, and writing poetry. I've never lived outside Puerto Rico. I don't know what I would do if it took me more than 15 minutes to get to the beach or see the ocean. Some day I wish to be a neuro-psychologist and be part of numerous service projects (maybe get involved in the UN). What I know for sure is that I want to keep traveling and become a cautious global citizen that cares about global issues because they affect all of us as collectives living in the same world.
