Poncho's

My group and I were sitting outside eating at Poncho’s a local establishment that has been serving great Mexican food longer than I can remember—located in the heart of South Phoenix.  Even President Clinton dined at Poncho’s when he was in town.  I looked up and there was a man waving people in to a new Chinese Restaurant that just opened next to Poncho’s—even though the sign said, Chinese Food the exterior and architecture of the building remain authentically southwest.  The building was even adorned with flags and lights like many of the Mexican restaurants in Phoenix.  I just struck me as odd and out of place.  I wonder if it will be in business next year as I sit outside and dine at Poncho’s?
