Lydia Manikonda

I am a fourth year PhD student at the Yochan lab, Arizona State University (ASU), working under the supervision of Prof. Subbarao Kambhampati (President, AAAI: Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence). My broad research areas include Crowdsourced planning, Social Computing and Machine Learning. Before coming to ASU, I pursued M.S by thesis and B.Tech (Honours) in Computer Science from IIIT-Hyderabad under the supervision of Prof. Vikram Pudi.

Recent News:

  • Two patents (IBM Docket No. YOR920161597US1, IBM Docket No. YOR920170076US1) from my IBM Watson internship work on "Autonomous learning of actionable models from unstructured data" was filed in January 2017.
  • Our work on "Herding the Crowd: Using Automated Planning for Better Crowdsourced Planning" got accepted for publication in Human Computation Journal.
  • Work on "Modeling and Understanding Visual Attributes of Mental Health Disclosures in Social Media" is accepted to CHI 2017.[pdf]
  • Paper titled "Tweeting the Mind and Instagramming the Heart: Exploring the differentiated content sharing on social media" is accepted to ICWSM 2016.
  • I am teaching CSE 494/598 Information Retrieval, Mining and Integration in Spring-2016.
