RESEARCH INTERESTS

I am an undergraduate senior majoring in Conservation Biology with a minor in Spanish. I have worked in Dr. Gerber's lab for two semesters and am now a Researcher with the School of Life Sciences Undergraduate Research (SOLUR) program. I am interested in the link between conservation biology and animal behavior, specifically in small mammals and marine life. My research in Dr. Gerber's lab has been focused on the effects of human disturbance on the behavior of California sea lions. I have a paper in progress on this topic, and will soon move on to determine if individual sea lions can be identified by their whisker patterns.
