If time, we will begin an introduction to HTML and blogging basics, and will view some award-winning online presentations.
To do:
Set up online subscriptions to a news-alert or budget service from a major news outlet of your choice.

Read Foust, chapters 1 and 2.
Wednesday, Jan. 25
HTML intro and practice. Forming collaborative groups for semester projects. Begin discussion of Foust, chapters 1 and 2.
To do:
Practice HTML coding by starting your resume, an "about me" page for an eventual personal Web site, or other useful project.
Read chapters 1 and 2 of Foust for discussion on Monday (work on getting the text ASAP if you don't have it yet)..
Respond to Cronkite blog topic.
