Professional Experience:
Assistant Director, Writing Programs Administrator—worked with the Writing Program Administrator to coordinate new hire orientation during the summer. Solicited contributions and edited Writing Notes , the newsletter of the Arizona State University Writing Programs. Researched and wrote portions of a TA Handbook for first-year teaching assistants. Collected and organized materials (syllabi and course documents) from Writing Programs instructors, which were then copied on to disks for distribution. Conducted workshops first-year teaching assistants on best practices in teaching with technology. Attended Writing Programs Committee meetings.

Writing Center Tutor, Chandler-Gilbert Community College—worked individually with students on all aspects of the writing process for papers from all disciplines, August-December 2005.

Editor, McNair Scholarly Review—coordinated call for papers, proofreading/editing of McNair Scholars' research papers and production of a journal using desktop publishing software,September-June 2000-01.

NCAA Pace Program, English Tutor—worked with student-athletes on their English papers.  Mostly helped with pre-writing and organizing ideas, but grammar instruction was also provided when needed, September-June1999-00.
