Biography

 

Marcos Fabricio Perez an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Department of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.  He received a PhD and master's degree in Economics from Arizona State University, a Master in Economics from CIDE Mexico in 2004 and a MBA from Politecnica Nacional  of  Ecuador in  2001. He was honored with the award to the best master student at CIDE , leading to a direct transfer to the PhD program at Arizona State University.   His research interests include econometric theory and financial econometrics with focus in asset pricing models.  His current research work focuses on GMM and Factor Models techniques to explain stock and bond markets behavior.
