Magda Hinojosa

Dr. Magda Hinojosa is Dean of Social Sciences and Professor of Political Science in the School of Politics and Global Studies at Arizona State University. She received her B.A. in government from the University of Texas at Austin and her A.M. and Ph.D. in political science from Harvard University. Dr. Hinojosa's research focuses on the political participation of women in Latin America, and in particular she examines institutional barriers to women's descriptive representation.
