Megan Thomas is a journalist in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in her junior year. She is specializing in print journalism with an emphasis in multimedia reporting.

Megan is insatiably curious about the world around her and never lacks story ideas. Journalism is not just a job or a passion but a need for her. She sees journalism as a catalyst for social change and a safeguard of human rights.

She believes in fair and accurate reporting that gives much-needed context to events in a news-saturated world. For her, telling stories through all media platforms is the only true way to engage audiences.

Although she is only just beginning as a journalist, Megan has already held multiple internships, published articles with over 18 different news organizations throughout Arizona and shown herself as a leader both professionally and academically.
