[9] In Barbara Brown's book, there is an affidavit signed by Henry
and Nancy Klepper in support of the pension claim of Nancy's
sister-in-law, Mary Lee. It is interesting that Elizabeth did not sign
the affidavit along with her husband but that her sister Nancy, who
had married William Klepper, did. Although no blood relationship has
been established, it is possible that Henry and William were brothers
who married sisters. At the time the afffidavit was signed, all four
parties were still living. Is it possible that the marriages were
mixed up?
