Brice was extracted from HAWKINS COUNTY records into the LDS IGI.
None of the witnesses names of above is familiar to me at this time in
Dec 1989.
Mrs Vera Boyatt sent the following information to Mrs Barbara
Brown who included them on p289 of her book GILLENWATERS and Related
Families.
"Hawkins Co., Tn. Chanc Court Records, Book A, pg.359 - Sarah A.
Gillenwaters VS W.P. Gillenwaters, widow of E.E. Gillenwaters who
died in Spring of 1876. They had no children but heirs at law
were:
Lusetta of Hawkins Co., W.P. & Ann of Hawkins Co., Heirs of
Harriet
Haywood, desc., Sarah, w/o George Feltner, Willie Ann. w/o Jno.
Lockmiller; Rettie; Heirs of James; Caroline Bell; Cordie or
Carden
Gillenwater."
