following family in dwelling # 909, Family # 920, page 131: .
James Helton 34 M Farmer TN

Plesent 2/12 M KY
This family obviously moved into Monroe county around 1857,
shortly after the Simmons and Gillenwaters. This Ellen's age is about
right for Ellen Gillenwater, the sister of John Marion. The list of
the children's names is a typical Gillenwaters family. Living next
door to the Helton's is the family of William Wax who married Lucretia
Gillenwaters, Ellen's first cousin. I am so convinced by the
circumstantial evidence that I am going to accept that James is Joseph
Helton.
